The Abacus Battle For Midway is a historical strategy board game that allows players to step into the shoes of commanders in the Battle of Midway, which took place during World War II. The game is designed for players aged 12 and up, and can be played by 2-6 players.

Players begin the game by selecting one of four factions: the United States Navy, Imperial Japanese Navy, United States Army Air Force or Imperial Japanese Army Air Service. Each faction has its own unique strengths and weaknesses that must be carefully considered before making any moves.

The game board is a beautiful recreation of the Pacific Ocean, and displays the islands on which the battle took place. Players take turns rolling dice to move their units around the board and engage in combat with enemy forces.

Players must determine their strategy carefully, taking into account the strength and positioning of their units, as well as the terrain and weather conditions. The game offers a realistic simulation of the actual battle and allows players to experience its many challenges and complexities.

In addition to combat, players can also use strategy cards to launch surprise attacks, repair damaged units, or gain an advantage over their opponents. Every decision made during the game can affect the outcome of the battle.

The Abacus Battle For Midway is both an entertaining and educational game that will teach players about one of the most important battles of World War II while providing them with hours of strategic gameplay.
